Electric hardstanding and grass touring pitch
Liked: Peace & quiet. Empty site. Countryside. Bus stop 5 min walk & regular buses. Text contact with manager excellent.
Disliked: A bit too expensive. We had toilet/shower facilities for a similar price elsewhere. Also, if full, it might feel you’re too close to others as it seems a small area for the number of pitches.

Liked: Great find close to all areas we wanted to see, great being next door to a Monkey sanctuary the noises at night felt like you were in the Tropics and made us smile .
Disliked: If it was fully booked I would think 30 pitches would make the site feel very overcrowded

Liked: Very good location for the IOW festival which we stayed for. Down a farm track, a very quiet campsite with a handy entrance into GG's cafe next door.
Disliked: No toilets or showers and I would have given 5 stars if they did but the price does reflect on this so can't really complain. Not very well sign posted off the main road.

Electric grass touring pitch
Liked: Small campsite with good-sized, natural pitches, surrounded by woodland and fields but handy for the bus stop with regular buses to Ryde, East Cowes and Newport (and the IOW Festival - but don't tell everyone!) No one on site, but good communication over text. No toilets or showers, but waste water and chemical loo disposal easy to access.

Liked: Excellent location… very peaceful… All you hear in the morning are the birds and the monkeys at Monkey Haven next door! Nice and small site. Excellent breakfast at the riding school cafe next door. Great value for money. Liked having the electric on all pitches.
Disliked: Grass pitches were very lumpy and bumpy and our pitch had a couple of big dips that we had to avoid so not to trip over. Was solved fairly easily though by putting something over the top of the holes so not a major issue.
