Liked: Farmyard site. Friendly owner. Very tidy site in beautiful area. Easy walk to pub.
Disliked: Location of electric point on first pitch - people kept cutting through our patch and I was worried they’d trip over the cable. A single shower and a single loo for each sex is not enough. Basic bathroom facilities and yet we had to pay extra for a shower. It was on the booking info but I hadn’t noticed when I booked.

Liked: Second visit here and it won’t be the last. Facilities were extremely spotless and the site was clean and well cared for. The owners were friendly polite and helpful .
Recommend this site it’s perfect for staying and enjoying the Yorkshire dales .

Liked: Spotlessly clean facilities on a small site. Lovely farm setting with llamas and calves.
Short walk into Barnoldswick and to the canal.

Liked: Very friendly host, who gave us a useful leaflet regarding the local area. Pitch 4 was nice and wide, allowing us to fit the van and 2 cars on the pitch and still have plenty of room. Relatively quick and pretty walk to Aldi from the site. Children’s play area is also quite close which would be good for families. Seeing the farm animals from the van was also nice and made it feel quite rural,
Disliked: Noisy factory relatively close by. Could only hear it when we were sat outside. Water treatment works on the other side of the road ( no smell though). Neither of these issues are the campsites fault though.
