Liked: Amazing! The bell tent had everything you could need with a very comfortable bed - plenty of wood to have a fire and we also bought some eggs and a bbq pack. The location was excellent and the campsite showers / toilets were the cleanest camp toilets I’ve been to. The owners were so friendly and helpful and I will definitely be back!

Liked: The lady that owned the campsite is absolutely amazing!! She was so friendly and welcoming from the moment we met right to the moment we left. This made the whole experience much nicer!
The facilities are spotless and well maintained. We had the ability to choose where to pitch up depending on circumstances (reactive dog owners could pick to be further away for a nicer holiday)! This was an added bonus for us.
The campsite is within 20 minutes of everything you need, with a pub in walking distance.

Liked: This campsite had loads of excellent features as it was nearby to Scafell Pike and a Lake (Wast Water) which are both iconic tourist destination in the Lake District. The coast is also very near - around 15 minutes.
The campsite was also very peaceful and cosy. The nearby stream created a serene effect and made for a relaxing spot to draw as well as enjoy the surrounding nature.
Furthermore, the owners are extremely friendly and helpful, which gives the camp a local family-like atmosphere. The hospitality and kindness definitely makes this camp stand out from others.
