Liked: Incredibly friendly reception, well kept campsite in a besutiful scenic location and superb facilities. We stayed due yo proximity to our hike up Scafell Pike but will not hesitate to return when visiting the area again. Thank you !

Liked: Even before we arrived our hosts were incredibly helpful, offering fire pit ( which we took them up on) and confirming pitch details and arrival procedures.
Myself, my partner and my 2 children arrived late afternoon, to a wonderful friendly greeting, a quick tour of the site, and much to the kids delight, a good fuss of the donkeys!
The pitch itself was excellent, plenty of space, well maintained, hookup and water incredibly close, and beautiful views all around.
The toilet and shower facilities were possibly the cleanest and nicest I've ever come across on a campsite, and given the weather we had, the indoor washing up area was a blessing too!
Really calm and peaceful little site, would highly recommend and will definitely visit again if in the area.
Disliked: Nothing, it really was an excellent little campsite.
