Beech View camping pod (hot tub, two person)

Liked We had a lovely stay here last week celebrating my partners birthday. We stayed in Beech View, the location of the pod was perfect and so peaceful. All pods are spaced apart for plenty of privacy. The wood fired hot tub and fire pit made it the cosiest stay. We originally booked for just two nights but upon arriving and being so impressed with the pod and location we extended our stay by a night which we are so glad we did. The pod had all the amenities we could possibly need. We also loved the petting corner where we bought some food from the lovely honesty shop to feed the goats and sheep. We will 100% be back again. Thank you so much for a lovely stay, it was just what we needed after 5 days at a heavy metal festival!

Willow View camping pod (hot tub, two person)

Liked We stayed for two nights and it was unreal. Perfect location of being secluded from reality however close for activities.
The owners were very friendly and welcoming
We loved how close the farm animals are and how friendly they were
For somebody who loves the outdoors, this location was perfect. We experienced the most surreal sunsets and stargazing

Disliked The only downside was the amount of flies near the pod. The fly spot came in handy

Oak View camping pod (hot tub)

Liked Pasturewood holidays were brilliant hosts. Our cabin was exceptionally clean and tidy upon arrival, with our hot tub already heated to temperature for us getting there. The views were also stunning. The team’s attention to detail was fab and even heated the hot tub once again whilst we were out for the day, and text us to inform us of this.

In our cabin, we were provided with things to do in the local area, as well as local pubs/restaurants to try (which came in handy).

We would definitely recommend Pasturewood holidays (and already have done so).

Local attractions

Carlisle Castle is known for holding Mary, Queen of Scots prisoner within its walls. Stroll on the green where she used to take her morning walks in captivity, or check out the fascinating displays at Cumbria’s Museum of Military Life. Bitts Park, on the banks of the River Eden, is a top spot for a picnic among colourful floral displays. Lake District National Park (half an hour’s drive) has gorgeous landscapes that you can explore while hiking, climbing fells or paddleboarding. To the west of Ullswater is Aira Force Waterfall, which tumbles down moss-covered stones, while the hills around Derwentwater yield spectacular views of the lake and its islands from observation points like Friars Crag. The Solway Coast National Landscape is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (40 minutes) stretching along the Solway Firth. Its sand dunes and salt marshes are home to breeding and migrating birdlife, including geese and birds of prey, while at low tide, you might spot the remains of an ancient submerged forest.
