  • Spacious site within Blakemere Village shopping and recreation centre
  • Microbrewery, falconry displays, adventure playground and restaurant
  • Within half an hour's drive of Chester Zoo and Blue Planet Aquarium
Sit back and spend some quality time together at Blakemere Touring Caravan Park, set in the central Cheshire countryside. Warm and friendly, and with excellent facilities to match, this spot has exactly what you need if you want to relax with your favourite people. A bus stop with convenient routes to Northwich and Chester is a short stroll from the site. Together with Cuddington train station, 25 minutes’ walk away, there’s also access to the lovely market town of Knutsford and the historic city of Chester. Calling all archers… also potters, shoppers and falcon fans… for Blakemere Touring Caravan Park is also in a prime slice of the countryside adjacent to Blakemere Village. This attraction has a shopping centre housed in a block of converted Edwardian stables, alongside a miniature railway, and may be the only village where you can saunter from an archery range to an antiques market, or slot a falconry display alongside making and painting your own mugs. If you’re peckish, there are many great places to eat and drink in the village, which includes pubs, a coffee bar and several artisan food outlets. Barbecues are allowed for those who want to dine outdoors. Pick up provisions from the farm shop just a five-minute drive down the road and do your chopping, grating and dicing in the food prep area. The kids might be so chuffed with the adventure playground that they offer to do the washing up… Dogs are welcome: the adjacent Mersey Forest makes a fine venue for walks with canine companions and there’s a tap to hand for the cleaning off of muddy paws.

Liked: This site was a real find!! Great amenities, everything had been thought about. Blakemere village next door absolutely adds to the charm of the. With the exception of the outdoors place which needs a bit of a revamp.

Disliked: Absolutely nothing. Definitely would return.

Silver electric gravel touring pitch

Liked: Our plot was very spacious with sun all day, we were in the paddock which we really liked. The nicest shower block, clean, warm and more than enough showers for how the site was occupied. Great location with good walks and close enough to public transport
Friendly and helpful welcome with a small shop with enough to put you on until you can get to a supermarket

Disliked: Nothing

Gold fully-serviced gravel touring pitch

Liked: Blakemere Campsite absolutely exceeded our expectations! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by how well-kept and welcoming the site is. Set in the heart of the Cheshire countryside, it offers a peaceful retreat while still having everything you need right on your doorstep.

The pitches were spacious, level, and immaculately clean – with plenty of room for our camper and awning. The facilities were top-notch: modern showers, spotless toilets, and thoughtful touches like heated floors and family-friendly amenities. Everything was well-maintained and clearly cared for.

What really sets Blakemere apart is the on-site village – shops, eateries, and activities galore. We spent a fantastic afternoon exploring the boutiques, and the kids were thrilled with the play area and the on-site activities. It’s rare to find a site that balances tranquility with so much to do – and still maintains a laid-back, community feel.

The staff were friendly, helpful, and genuinely passionate about making guests feel at home. It’s clear they take pride in the site, and it shows in every detail.

We can’t wait to come back – Blakemere Campsite is now one of our absolute favourites. Whether you’re a seasoned camper or a family on a weekend break, this place is a gem.

Silver electric gravel touring pitch

Liked: Site was very clean and well kept

Disliked: Stated in description had soft play that is the main reason I went with my 3 year old girl arrived at 5:30 everywhere was shut understandably was told soft play opened 10am next morning daughter was very excited when she woke waited till 10am to be told private party on and she wasn’t allowed in until 12pm had to check out by 12pm
There’s an outdoor park but it was cold
Poorly organised but we got to sleep on there land for the night in our van for 43 quid :)

From the manager: Thank you for taking the time to leave us feedback. We are glad you liked the holiday park. I am very sorry to hear the problems with the playbarn. Blakemere village is a boutique village and all the units are individually owned so all I can do is pass on your comments to them. As with most soft play venues it is always advisable to pre book to avoid disapointment as private parties maybe booked in advance.

Overall, a well maintained, site, credit to the staff who work there.

Local attractions

With Blakemere Village containing days'worth of stuff to do and see, no-one would blame you for staying put and savouring it all... if you do fancy venturing further afield though, Cheshire is chock full of options... Perhaps the on-site birds of prey aviary and falconry displays have piqued your interest? If so, take a trip to Chester Zoo and its underwater equivalent, the Blue Planet Aquarium (both 25 minutes’ drive), for encounters furry, fanged and cute. For a closer look at wildlife, Wood Lane Nature Reserve and the nearby Fenn’s, Whixall and Bettisfield Mosses (50 minutes) draw birdwatchers and walkers in search of avocets and herons, adders and flesh-eating bog plants. If that sounds a bit alien, beetle over to Jodrell Bank Discovery Centre to take a look at the universe through the Lovell Telescope, or travel back to 13th-century times at Beeston Castle, both 25 minutes away. Don’t forget rock and pop history at The Cavern 50 minutes away in Liverpool, along with the Tate gallery, the busy waterfront and the ferries across the Mersey…
