Grass pitches
Quiet location with great views

  • Simple campsite with moorland views 15 minutes’ drive from Bradford
  • The Piece Hall 15 minutes’ drive; Brontë Parsonage Museum 20 minutes
  • Grass pitches on a farm field; five minutes’ walk to the pub
Get back to nature with a down-to-earth camping adventure at Two Acre Camping, set in a farm meadow with far-reaching views over the wild moors of West Yorkshire, and 15 minutes’ drive from Bradford. There’s an abundance of local walks direct from the site, so you can exercise yourselves and any accompanying dogs in peaceful woodland or on nigh-deserted country lanes. For a typically friendly Yorkshire night out, take a leisurely stroll to the local foodie pub (five minutes’ walk), where you can tuck into fine beers and tempting pub food – and if you’re craving a curry, Bradford is of course the curry capital of the UK. Simple this place may be, but it’s all designed for your comfort and convenience, with fresh water access, easy cassette-emptying facilities and portable toilets. And you’ll be able to rest easy in your tent, knowing that the gate to the camping field is securely fastened at night.

Liked: This place is a gem!

From the stunning 360° views to the charming little site itself, everything about this spot feels special. The owners have put so much thought into adding quirky touches that make the wild camping experience one you’ll truly cherish.

Facilities:
The toilets are basic but don’t be fooled—they’re well maintained, kept clean, and fully stocked. Campfires can be hired on-site, and wood is available to buy, adding to the authentic outdoor vibe.

Arrival & Welcome:
We were greeted at the fabulous electric gate by the owner, who helped us find the perfect spot for our setup. After a warm welcome, we were given a few housekeeping tips and shown around, including how to operate the gate—and then our adventure began!

Atmosphere:
The kids ran up and down the field with the dogs while other families set up. The whole site has a really warm and welcoming atmosphere where you feel safe and part of a community.

Extras & Surroundings:
There are fab walks all around the area and even a pub at the top of the drive—what more could you need from a wild camping spot? To go above and beyond, there’s also a “borrow box” filled with toys to keep the kids entertained. We left some water pistols behind, so hopefully you’ll have fun with those when you visit!

Final Thoughts:
We will definitely go again

Disliked: The roadway down was a farm track… it’s not really a negative it is what it is. It’s bumpy and fragile and so treated like a delicate lady! Slow and steady haha

Non-electric grass touring pitch

Liked: The views and farm land were beautiful. My pitch was level, facing down the valley. Pine trees gave privacy at one side and no other vans at the other, so just fields, the lane and a distant farm. I was given a warm welcome and all explained. Paid for a fire pit with everything needed included.

Disliked: The lane was very bumpy in places.

Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch

Liked: A lovely wee site and surprisingly quiet considering it's quite close to the city centre, and the owners were really welcoming and couldn't do enough for you, overall a nice pitch up......

Disliked: The road down to the site was a bit uneven but given the year we've had with the amount of rain washing it away it was ok.....
Don't trust your sat nav if you put brewery lane in,it takes you to a different location about 5 miles away,
The correct location is West Scholes down the side of
the Junction inn.....
