What customers say

Visitors highly praised the pods, describing them as perfect, very clean, and comfortable, with enjoyable hot tubs and decking areas. The site offers lovely views over the valley and a peaceful, chilled atmosphere. Owners are consistently described as welcoming and friendly, with excellent and well-thought-out facilities. While one review mentioned a non-functioning hot plate, it was easily overcome with the BBQ. Overall, guests found the experience fantastic, worth the cost, and expressed a strong desire to return.

Local attractions

If your waterlogged skin needs a break from the woodfired hot tub, head off to Hexham Abbey (20 minutes’ drive) for a wander around this Grade I-listed place of worship. As well as being easy on the eye, the 12th-century structure, built on a landmark first created way back in AD 674, is also rather historical. Hadrian's Wall (25 minutes), masterminded by the Romans in AD 122, is even older. Set off on extensive ambles alongside this former defensive fortification – it stretches for almost 80 miles from one side of the English coast to the other. Learn about a different part of Northumberland’s past at the Killhope Lead Mine Museum (20 minutes), or school yourself on all things natural at The Sill: National Landscape Discovery Centre (25 minutes). If you’d rather just lose yourself in the lush landscapes, Talkin Tarn country park (40 minutes) and its cracking kettle-hole lake is one of the top places to do it.
