Disliked: We did arrive at 1030pm and could not find the entrence. We called, but no one answered, left a voice mail and no one called back.

toilet just ok didn't use shower so cannot comment
Lovely grassy field
Disliked: no one to check you in and give pitch advise consequently we came back from a day out and tent was pitched 8 feet from us. We then moved further up the field to put a little distance between us . Went out next day and another tent with van was squeezed in between us about 6ft away. I'm sure that there is a minimum distance between units as law to prevent the spread of fire. A long way for water and waste. Very expensive for what you got. Need a car unless you are a walker

Liked: The site was very quiet when we went as it was at the end of the season. It's ideally situated for visiting York and surrounding area.
A taxi ride into town was £20 which meant we could leave the van parked up rather than trying to find parking near the city centre.
Showers were hot and they weren't the push botton type which makes a nice change. Washing up facilities were clean and well lite at night.
Over all a great place to stay and excellent value for money

Liked: Nice quiet site in the countryside. Suited us with its location. Brilliant for stargazing. Toilets and showers were clean enough. Nice play area for children.
Disliked: As convenient as the self check in was, the site was not well sign posted to find a pitch. Customer service given 1 star as we didn’t meet anyone!

Liked: Gorgeous caravan clean and tidy, so peaceful, just what we needed to get away and relax, lovely freindly people around us, 17 mins drive to york askam bar park and ride, £3.50 to park at park and ride, buses frequent to york,
