I will be returning but I will spend more time finding the right pitch
Non-electric grass pitch
Liked Facilities were decent, location brilliant.
Disliked Noisy neighbours but I suppose that can't always be helped.

Liked Absolutely beautiful place location fantastic the site was clean but the bin area could do with being fenced off as they were over flowing
Disliked The bin area could do with a fence around it

Friendly guy who greeted us . All in all fine.
Non-electric grass pitch
Liked Open spaces .
Disliked Grass could have done with a cut, no soap on dispensers in toilet, but heyho.

Poor facilities and value.
Non-electric grass pitch
Liked There was a toilet block
Disliked It's a field a long way from the toilet block. Potaloos in the fields is not acceptable.
Little in the way of facilities, especially for the relatively high fee. Toilet block and showers not very clean. The caretaker warden helped out by providing a phone charge from his caravan.

Liked Quiet site, nothing fancy but that suits us.
No issues with the toilets being a bit further away than most campsites, as mentioned in other reviews. They were very clean and well maintained. Liked being able to choose our own pitch.
Disliked Thought is was expensive for what it was but the view made up for it.

Nice quiet site in a great location with friendly staff.
Non-electric grass pitch
Liked Stayed in a caravan on the camping field. Great location, short walk into Settle. friendly and relaxed atmosphere, wasn’t too busy so everyone spread out on the camping field, quiet. Field was flat and despite a lot of rain it didn’t get muddy. I didn’t use the on site facilities as it was more convenient to use my own down on the camping field, but a friend said they were fine.
Disliked The only touring pitches they had all seemed to be taken up as seasonal pitches, which meant the only option for me with my caravan was to stay on camping field with no hookup. It was fine for a couple of nights but maybe some more touring pitches/hookups on the lower field would be good to give tourers the option for a longer stay.

Good value for the money.
Non-electric grass pitch
Liked Peaceful and quiet. Close to shops and restaurants. Also close to the best hiking spots.
Good location. Good facilities.
Disliked There was no toilet paper provided for days in the male bathroom. Hand soap was not refilled either.

Overall good campsite, clean and tidy
Non-electric grass pitch
Liked Clean and tidy toilets
Quiet location
Disliked Maybe an option to have more water taps dotted around the site as it was a challenge lugging a big water carrier all across the field and up the hill to the shower/toilet blocks.
I didn't actually meet any of the staff that owed this campsite as they were nowhere to be seen.
A lovely lady in a caravan who visits the site most weekends actually met spoke to us as she could see i was looking around for someone and she told us where to go/pitch up.
