Local attractions

Just south of Withernsea is RAF Holmpton (15 minutes’ drive), where a rather unassuming bungalow hides a vast underground bunker. Built in the 1950s, the facility was operational for more than 20 years; these days, volunteers are on hand to explain its role as an early warning station during the Cold War years. In Hull (40 minutes), The Deep is a state-of-the-art aquarium at the confluence of the River Hull and the Humber estuary. From there, trace your way back up the river to the Hull & East Riding Museum, which displays Roman mosaics and the reconstruction of a mammoth, or visit the birthplace of anti-slavery campaigner William Wilberforce. The market town of Beverley (50 minutes) is known for its Georgian townhouses and its Minster, which took more than two centuries to build and features three types of Gothic architecture. To the west of the town, Beverley Westwood is a vast area of parkland with a racecourse and a golf club.

Admission

At least one of the party members must be aged 21 or over.
Under 18s must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.

Arrivals and departures

No refunds/discounts for inclement weather, late arrivals or early departures.
There is no reception at this site. Please check in at the Self-Check In instead.

Changes to your holiday

Changes cannot be made once you have booked.

Dogs

Dogs must be kept on leads and supervised at all times.
Guide dogs are allowed on site free of charge.
The site does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act (i.e. XL Bully, Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, and Fila Brasileiro) and/or any of the following: Staffordshire bull terrier, American Staffordshire terrier, Rottweiler, any Mastiff or Tosa.
Your dog must be tattooed or microchipped.

General

In the event of a complaint, please speak to reception immediately. Complaints which are not brought to the management's attention during your stay cannot be dealt with once you have left the site.
Public areas are non-smoking.
Quiet hours must be respected between 9:30 p.m. and 8 a.m..
Radio, music and TV players must be kept at a low volume. Car doors and boots must be closed quietly.
Refunds within the indicated cancellation period are only possible if the site is able to relet your unit/pitch.
The management reserves the right to deny access or terminate the stay of those guests whose behaviour is deemed unsuitable. No refunds will be offered.
The site is not liable for any refund in the event of force majeure.

Hired accommodation

Hired accommodation: a £100.00 damage/cleanliness deposit hold is required prior to arrival and will be released within 24 hours of your departure date after inspection of your unit should no damage/losses be found. The site will contact you for your card details so that the deposit is pre-authorised on the card used to make your booking.
No naked flames are allowed inside the hired accommodation units.

Barbecues are permitted but must be raised off the ground and attended by an adult at all times.
Firearms are not permitted.
Guests are advised to bring a good quality torch with them as parts of the site are unlit.
