A choise camp site. We would like to go back for more.
Non-electric grass pitch
Liked Very easy going. Find/pick your own spot if you don't have a electric hook up booked.
The site is clean and fresh. Plenty of trees for shelter.
Nearby pub is worth a visit.
Disliked The water in the dish wasking facilities was cold even after a time of running it through.

Not impressed
Electric grass pitch
Liked Location
Disliked No reception, you have to search for you pitch as there is no one to greet some pitches not clearly marked
There's a pub at the entrance that does not do food on Monday/Tuesday which was great to hear when we arrived on Sunday
A group of men playing loud music on one of the nights. Only one toilet block working which is in need of a coat of paint.

Excellent site with clean facilities, friendly campers and nice walks.
Non-electric grass pitch
Liked The site is lovely, so quiet and peaceful with the sound of nature to wake up too. Showers/loo’s are kept super clean and are up to date. Everyone here is super friendly and trustworthy.I will definitely be coming back in the future 100%.
I also liked the fact the non electric pitches aren’t marked just turn up and find a nice spot on the grass in the sun. Pub at the end of the pitch sits at the ferry and has a lovely view for a pint or food on the riverside.
Disliked I wouldn’t say “dislike” but there are definitely a couple of things I’d make recommendations to change;
The only bins are situated at the very top of the campsite, there’s plenty of bins there which is fine for camp rubbish but there so much space for dog walking with the fields next to the site and literally 75% of the campers have at least 1 dog but there’s not 1 “poo bin” anywhere so you either have to keep at your campsite or walk the whole stretch of the site to the bins at the top which isn’t an issue for me being one of the younger fitter members of the community here but it is a 5 min round walk just to pop the poo in the bins.
We got here around 7.30pm on Friday but couldn’t find anyone to sign in with just a shed with a board on it with your name on the spot but it’s very easily missed. Being my first time here and my first solo time camping since I was a child I was a little bamboozled by not reporting my presence, might be normal for trustworthy places but I feel anyone could have turned up and just camped on the non electric pitch and nobody would know.

Liked Lovely location and nice village pub on the doorstep. Nice village and superb scenery
Disliked Despite a 5 mph limit on site most cars thought that was in first gear and then get up to 30 asap.
