Electric grass and gravel pitch
Liked: Easy to find site and clean and well maintained, fishing lake seemed popular and theres a few in situ caravans on the site. Theres a small shop that has a few chilled and frozen bits and simple stuff which is cheap. Toilets were clean, showers were OK and free. Ten minute walk to local village and 30 minute walk into St Ives.
Disliked: Ladies showers weren't the greatest.

Electric grass pitch
Liked: Lovely pitch - great views and little visual clutter.
No hassle electric hook up
No hassle check in / registration
Friendly and amenable people on site to help out
Very well kept facilities - beautifully clean, uncrowded and lots of hot water.
Good location - very close to St Ives and local shops/facilities
Disliked: Attempted to fish in the smaller of the lakes. As novices we didn't fare too well - lots of reeds and overhanging trees. (But total novices so......)
Maybe a coffee/snack machine on site?

From the manager: Thank you for your comment!
Sorry to hear this was your experience. Of course our facilities are cleaned frequently, we do ask that if you have any concerns or issues to let a staff member know, unfortunately you did not stay long enough to do this, we would have been happy to assist you!

Electric grass and gravel pitch
Liked: The site managers were approachable and friendly giving local recommendations for meals out. Pitch was clean and spacious with all the facilities asked for.
Access to and around the site was good and space around each pitch was spacious
Disliked: The site could have better lit signage on entry. We struggled to see the site name in the dark. Also the signage on approach for where to pull in for reception wasn’t visible. The showers in general were dated, having just opened for the season, it was a surprise the shower head sprays were blocked. Facilities were however clean

From the manager: Hi,
I’m really pleased to hear you enjoyed your stay and hope to see you again soon.
We’re so sorry we had to cancel your booking with us,
We had to cancel last minute due to the main road outside being closed due to flooding which meant there was no access either way,
We never had no prior warning of this,
Thanks
