Traditional village pub
Pitches up high so great views
Spacious serviced pitches
Pitches with rural views

  • Small site in the grounds of a Callow End traditional village pub
  • A 15-minute drive from the Malvern Hills and Worcester
  • Large beer garden with outdoor tables, play area and chickens
For those couples/travelling parties that frequently face disagreement over whose turn it is to be designated driver, there’s really only one sensible solution: bed down right there at the pub. Dozing off at the bar might be considered a little unseemly, so The Old Bush’s owners Matt and Karen have come up with a better solution and set up pitches in the garden area behind their rural Worcestershire pub. Thus guests can partake of dinners accompanied by a few local ales/ciders before strolling home (to a peaceful corner with drinking water, showers and 24-hour toilets) in just a couple of minutes – how civilised. In fact, the whole setup here is rather civilised: The Old Bush is a traditional country pub in the little village of Callow End, with food available at lunch and dinner times, plus a menu of mini meals for smaller guests. On warmer days the merriment spills out into the garden, where there’s a play area, an aviary and a little flock of chickens along with plenty of tables for open-air drinking, dining and admiring the views over the Malvern hills. Of course, one can’t sit around in the pub all day (well, maybe not every day, anyway…), so it’s worth noting that this is also a handy location for walks, horse riding, games of golf, fishing and days out in Worcester and Malvern (both 15 minutes away by car). Handily, if you do ‘accidentally’ sup one too many at lunchtime there’s a bus stop in the village so you can still get out and about.

Fairly quiet, no noticeable road noise.

The pub serves good food and the staff are friendly.

There's an aviary at the back of the pub for added interest.

Liked: What was not to like! The staff greeting, the area, the views and site were fantastic. We also had some beautiful walks and returned to a welcoming environment, food at the Shop at the top and a relax in the garden. Great food at reasonable prices in the pub with great atmosphere then off to our plot for a quiet and peaceful sleep.

Electric optional gravel motorhome pitch

Liked: We always start our camping season here and always have a wonderful time. The site is in a lovely location with just a few pitches which does mean that you feel like you are on holiday somewhere peaceful and quiet. The staff are really friendly, the toilets are always clean and there are showers and a washing up area. There is also a fantastic pub which does great food and has a play area and some cool birds, as well as a lovely shop where you can get amazing cakes etc but which also serves gorgeous breakfasts. There are also lovely walks from the site.

Disliked: Nothing at all!

Liked: This site is an excellent location. 10 minutes from the M5 with lovely walks nearby. Malvern is also a short drive away which is definitely worth a visit. The actual site is adjacent to the pub but still very quiet . Pub food and staff are excellent. Each pitch is level and gravelled with plenty of space to sit outside. Toilets & showers very clean. The extra bonus is the tea room on site which serves up delicious breakfasts & lunches
