Your Cotswold Adventure - the main campsite
Pitch 1 - grass area being reseeded
Pitch 2 - grass area being reseeded.
Pitch 3 - grass area being reseeded.

  • Rural site with views of hills in the Cotswolds National Landscape
  • Burford and Blenheim Palace within 20 minutes' drive
  • Walk to Shipton-under-Wychwood along a footpath
These are some pretty pitches indeed – the main area at Your Cotswold Adventure is tucked away in a grass field surrounded by mature plum trees and hedgerows, while the farm walk and wild area have gorgeous views of the surrounding hills and the Evenlode River valley. It’s all located within the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It’s the sort of rural setting that may well make you think you’re miles away from any sort of useful amenities, but in fact it’s a mere mile from Ascott-under-Wychwood and under two miles from Shipton-under-Wychwood, which combined have four pubs, shops and cafés. There are several excellent bakeries and farm shops scattered around nearby too (including the famed Diddly Squat farm shop 10 minutes' drive away), so you’ll not be short of treats – perhaps to take back to the lovely little secluded picnic spot mown into a field just next to the pitches) Foodie needs sorted, it’s time to think about ways to fill your days around here – perhaps walks on trails like the Oxfordshire Way and Wychwood Way, outings to popular Cotswold towns such as Burford, Bourton-on-the-Water and Chipping Norton or family days at the likes of the Cotswold Wildlife Park and Cotswold Farm Park. There are several bus services and local train stations linking local villages for those who’d like to travel around public transport. Back at base, there are modern facilities – the established field has a toilet and showers block. There's also a covered sink for washing up. Look out for the bird box matching the shower block design, which has resident blue tits.

Electric optional hardstanding and grass tent or trailer tent pitch

Liked: Well, what can I say? What a fabulous camp we had I wish we could've stayed for a whole week.

We were met with a very warm welcome upon arrival that went very far with us as usually we just turn up to self check ins and crack on.

The facilities were immaculate, shower block just fantastic. The pitches themselves offered plenty of space for us with the surrounding hedges and Trees offering quite a nice private feel.

Your hard work has not gone unnoticed, the place was immaculate and we really enjoyed the Sign posted walk. We look forward to staying with you once again soon thank you for helping us fulfil our Cotswold adventure.

Electric optional hardstanding and grass touring pitch

Liked: The family are so lovely and it was the cleanest shower and toilet I have ever used on a campsite. The Swan close by has great food and such an easy walk to it. You will need to drive to get to most places but you are in the middle of gorgeous hills so it was expected.
