Liked: Close to Burghley horse trials which was the sole reason for our visit. Walk took us 45 minutes to the lion bridge (Burghley) via the footpaths.
Driving to Burghley was about 10 minutes for the showjumping.
The campsite was very basic, pop up showers, ran well but generator ran out of a fuel which means they didn’t really have a “cut off” point. More of a case of, if you’re lucky.
Porta loo’s were absolutely filthy second day. This is something that would need improvement for the following year.
The gentleman that came to collect the balance was very pleasant.
One downside is definitely paying per person and not per tent.
All in all a pleasant stay & spot on for what we needed, although room for improvement.
Value for money I would say is definitely on the lower side, paid a lot for very little realistically.

From the manager: hi, thanks for this always useful. Noted and next year we have organised a better layout for the loo's as well as some servicing during the weekend. We are also doing shuttles.
