  • Adults-only Fenland caravan park 25 minutes’ drive from Spalding
  • Gedney 20 minutes’ walk, and Sandringham Estate 50 minutes’ drive
  • Clubhouse on site for local drinks and themed dinner evenings
Award-winning, adults-only, tree-shaded pitches, real ales and tasty dinners on site… sound good to you? It's all here at Delph Bank Caravan Park. This is a place where you can explore some jolly fine Fenland scenery by day, before coming back each night to a landscaped south Lincolnshire caravan park laid out with flower beds, shrubs and mature trees – and with its own cosy clubhouse for laidback evenings. The pitches are level and all have electric hook-ups. They are nicely surrounded by farmland and peaceful countryside, giving you the opportunity to relax at your own pace, stretch your legs on quiet rural lanes and keep an eye out for all the wildlife round and about. Newly installed for the 2025 season is an atmospheric clubhouse where you can sink into a comfy chair to sample something from the range of local beers, ciders and gins or take a table for dinner (Thai evenings and fish and chip suppers are particularly popular). Going with the self-catering approach? The well-stocked store at reception will see you right for emergency re-provisioning and all-day snacks, and when it’s time for a major shop, the supermarkets of Spalding are 25 minutes’ drive away. If you don’t want to drive, local bus services leave every half hour for Spalding or King’s Lynn (half an hour), picking up a few yards from the park entrance. It’s also an easy 10 minutes’ walk into the local village of Fleet Hargate, which has a pub, tea room, restaurant and farm shop.

Electric gravel touring pitch

Liked: Welcoming hosts, spotless facilities, well looked after site that has ambitions to become popular.
Convenient location and easy to find.

Disliked: For some reason there was no hot water in the toilet block. I would normally mark down for that normally but as they had some workmen on site it may have been switched off because of that.

Electric gravel touring pitch

Liked: Delph Bank caravan site is fantastic, although relatively new everything is spotless, grass cut and hedges trimmed. The welcome we received on arrival was the best we have ever had. We were shown round and everything was explained including bus time table and walks around the site. In the evenings there was food available from local fish and chip van the food was cooked to order as was the Thai curries the following evening. All pitches in our area were hard standing with grass in between. The pitches are all well spaced and pitch numbers well marked. All in all a marvellous stay made so much better by the hospitality from Stewart and family. Thankyou we will definitely be back.

Disliked: Absolutely nothing to dislike.

Liked: Pristine site, incredibly clean facilities.
The addition of mobile food provision was nice and the Thai food was amazing.
A very relaxed and quiet stay on a busy little site.
Friendly and informative staff, if I could give it more stars I would. Will definitely book again if we’re in the area.

Local attractions

Keen cyclists can join National Cycle Route 1 directly from the pitches for flat cycling through Fenlands crisscrossed with peaceful waterways and flat landscapes dotted with church spires. Walkers may like to follow the waymarked circular Three Church Trail from Fleet Hargate Baptist Church (10 minutes’ walk) to the landmark ‘Cathedral of the Fens’ in Gedney (20 minutes) along country lanes and dykes. There’s plenty of grand architecture in these parts too – and nothing comes much grander than the sprawling royal household on the Sandringham Estate (50 minutes’ drive), open for guided tours when the King’s not in residence. Almost as impressive is 16th-century Burghley House (55 minutes), where you can peek into sumptuous interiors and stroll the extensive deer park. For days on the North Norfolk coast, choose between shingle Snettisham Beach (55 minutes), good for wading birds around RSPB Snettisham Reserve; the brace of beaches (one lively, the other nigh-on deserted) at Heacham; and sandy Hunstanton (both an hour), backed by pink-tinged cliffs. A nose around the Georgian Hanse House, Custom House and Purfleet Quay in King’s Lynn (half an hour) recalls the town’s heyday as a thriving sea port before the Fens were drained.
