Orchard electric grass tent pitch
Liked: Lovely quiet site, really large pitches.
If you are looking for back to basics camping in nature this is definitely the site for you. The children loved just running free and playing with sticks.
Toilet was clean and as the site was so quiet there was no issue it only being one loo (we did have a portaloo in the tent for the small ones in the tent as the loo was a walk away).
Kevin was extremely friendly, and we all fell in love with the dogs!
Disliked: Previous reviews mentioned pigs and there weren't any when we stayed.
Dogs were barking a little on the last night which may disturb young children.

Liked: Tranquil orchard of trees on flat ground, beside a farmhouse with an outdoor toilet. Water easily accessible and electricity optional. Very good value for money.
Disliked: Loud, large dogs may be scary for some people.

Liked: Haven’t been camping in years , and decided last week I wanted to go somewhere to try my new gear , I received a text from Kevin the day before I went, telling me exact location and entrance to campsite , toilets etc, which made it a lot easier, the campsite was everything I hoped for , I usually like wild camping in woodland, rather than the plain field often at campsites, this place was amazing, the ground was clear and cut short and the trees were perfectly spaced, there is open area if not wanting to be under trees , I made a friend with a squirrel who was very curious as my night went on , the toilet was clean and spotless, plenty of toilet roll , had soap , air freshener, and flowers which made a nice touch , I would recommend this campsite to others and will definitely visit again , Well Done Kevin!

Liked: The coverage of the orchard trees gave a sense of seclusion and separation from the world that was needed for my stay at Home Farm. As well as providing some protection from the British rain!
Being a good distance to the home of the owners was comforting (as a solo camper), as well as being close to their range of animal friends.
Friendly guidance and welcome on my entry was much appreciated, opening a line of communication and reassurance to ask any queries if I had any issues.
Loved the range of personalised and recycled camp decor situated around the campsite, including the alternative toilet sign “workshop”.
Disliked: It wasn’t an issue for my stay (as I practically had the site to myself)… however as there is only 1 toilet, I can imagine a fuller campsite could be an issue regarding use of the toilet facilities.
