  • Multi-award-winning adults-only leisure park with seven acres
  • Rural location on the edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds
  • Bar and restaurant on site, plus two well-stocked fishing lakes
Caistor Lakes Leisure Park is a multi-award-winning adults-only site set within seven scenic acres of leisure park. On the edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds, it's just the spot for some peace, quiet and relaxation. So, take your pick from the touring pitches which welcome caravans, motorhomes or campervans. The amenities on site include top-notch and sparklingly clean shower and toilet facilities (with separate male and female areas and full disabled access), wifi and access to freshwater fill-ups and wastewater and chemical disposal points. Fancy a spot of fishing? No problem. There are two well-stocked fishing lakes, the Heron and Foundry pools, which both have good stock of fish including carp, ide, tench, bream, crucian carp, barbel and roach. And there’s much to please away from the water, too – the surrounding countryside is packed with places to walk or cycle, and a drive of less than half an hour will get you to the coast for some sea air. Once all that's left you peckish, settle in for some downtime in The Ugly Duckling restaurant which is in a peaceful setting overlooking the lakes and gardens. It’s open throughout the week for everything from light bites to full meals and their ever-popular Sunday roasts. It has a pet-friendly area for all fur babies to have a rest.

Local attractions

Caistor Lakes Leisure Park's local town of Caistor is a market town on the edge of the Wolds with a history going back a couple of thousand years to Roman times. Main sights to see are the Georgian and Victorian architecture, the Scheduled Ancient Monument of the remaining fragments of Roman wall, and the market square with over 50 listed buildings. Fellow market town Market Rasen is 15 minutes' drive away and visited for its racecourse, more Georgian and Victorian architecture, and market days on Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. If you're up for ambling, an easy four-mile circular walk starts and ends in Caistor via Nettleton, or you could hike the 25 miles of the Caistor Challenge, wander the Wolds free range, or tackle some of the 147 miles of the Viking Way passing through Caistor on its route from Humber Bridge to Oakham.

Electric optional hardstanding and grass touring pitch

Liked: Level pitches but a bit on the small side, next door had 2cars parked & so very close to our awning ! Clean showers & toilets & lovely & warm in there…liked the music playing to…lakes looked well kept & bar & restaurant was friendly.food was ok.

Disliked: Signs every where to keep dogs on leads & to clean up after your dog,as it should be…except when we arrived on our pitch there was a big pile of poo, that looked like it was from a Great Dane 😡that should have been spotted & got up before we arrived, even better the people on the pitch before us should never left it there in the first place ! Also went to put rubbish in one of the big bins & there was a rat in there that scurried back down in the bin when I lifted the lid, made me jump out my skin 😳

From the manager: Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We are happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay with us. We would like to answer some of the comments that you left.
*All guests sign a disclaimer to say that they agree to our dog rules. Had we been made aware of dogs on site without a lead, we could of dealt with this issue straight away.
*All pitches are checked by our maintenance for dog mess. This may have happened after the checks had been done by a dog staying on the park.
*Our bins are emptied regular and we have rat control measures in place around the park however, we are rural and they do come from surrounding fields and woodlands etc.

We hope to see you again in the future. Many thanks

Liked: Lovely site with beautiful fishing lakes. Even though we don't fish nice to walk around.
Nice and friendly check-in and warm welcome. Spacious pitch and absolutely spotless shower and toilet block. Having the restaurant on site was so convenient as we were meeting up with family and friends. Lots of great walks and the Viking way very nice views. We will definitely return.

Disliked: Only that WIFI wasn't very good.

From the manager: Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us a review. We are happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay with us and look forward to welcoming you back to us. We are in a rural location and weather/wind can have an effect on the WIFI. The wifi that we use on the park is suitable for daily use but for things like live streaming or downloading it would not be strong enough for this.
Many thanks

The staff was very helpful and friendly. We ate in the restaurant twice and was very impressed with what we had in fact to be honest it was too big a portion for us but I know our son would have been quite happy with it.
