Fishing lake

  • Family-run touring and camping park on a working arable farm
  • Just over a mile from Anderby Creek beach; Skegness 20 minutes
  • Well-stocked fishing lake on site (charges apply)
Stroll along the sand, explore the Lincolnshire countryside or spend your time fishing in the well-stocked lake at Manor Farm Caravan Park, a family-run touring and camping park that's been operating in this pretty corner of the English countryside since 1998. With spacious, level and individually marked pitches, this site, which is part of a larger arable farm, prides itself on its peaceful atmosphere and excellent facilities, including a well-stocked fishing lake (charges apply) and a spotless modern amenities block that's kept heated for your comfort. The park is about a mile from the coastal village of Anderby, home to gorgeous Anderby Creek beach, where there are sand dunes and a café to visit. The site also has immediate access to the Lincolnshire Coast Country Park, while the Lincolnshire Wolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty starts a quarter of an hour's drive inland to the west. Pubs and local shops can be found in the string of villages that runs along this part of the Lincolnshire coast, but for bigger stores and supermarkets, your best bet is to head towards the larger seaside towns of Mablethorpe (15 minutes) or Skegness (20 minutes).

Electric hardstanding touring pitch

Liked: Relaxed, friendly site. We booked hard standing near facilities but owner gave us option to choose a grass pitch to take advantage of the late evening sunshine. Excellent toilet block and facilities. Arrived on Friday night and local mobile fish and chip van comes on site which was a bonus. We booked for local walks to and from beach (about 30 mins easy walking across fields). Nice cafe at Anderby beach and a couple of pubs. Lovely beach walk down to Chapel St Leonard’s and return. Appreciated easy access to site Wi-Fi when needed but mostly sat outside van in sunshine.

Electric hardstanding touring pitch

Liked: This is a lovely site, with everything you need. We found there to be many people on site all very friendly and welcoming.

We were given options of pitches to set up, a lot of choice with lovely view. The ground are will maintain with a lovely fishing pond in the top of the park.

The site has some of the best facilities I have seen, hot showers and toilet block, even heated for comfort. Clean washing up area, laundry area, and a family bathroom with changing area for the little ones.
They is an Elsin point and many clean warmer point around d the park.

Friday night is fish and chip night(a Van comes to site) and a local delivery Chinese and pizza/kebab

The site is 20mins walk to the coast passing by a Lovley bar called The Tavin who play bingo, and the atmosphere was lovely and welcoming, they do sell carvery on Sundays the sign says.

It’s a lovely central walk to a great coastal walk to Sutton-on-sea, if your legs will take you even to mablethorpe.

You can hire rods at reception if you desire to fish.

Disliked: No local shop, (we think it’s seasonal, but you can drive to the local villages

Icecream van comes most days and she is a good price👍 the fishing lake is great. My son spent most days on the lake fishing and caught plenty big fish ❤️. Jenna and her mum are really friendly and helpful. We extended our stay by an extra two nights while we was there. Local attractions

To start off, walk down to the beach (25 minutes) and then up the coast along the sand dunes to Moggs Eye, or drive a little further to the north for a round of golf at Sandilands Golf Course (five minutes' drive), a well-maintained links with stunning sea views. Also along the coast, you might like to visit the fascinating North Sea Observatory (five minutes' drive, or an hour on foot), a striking building with exhibits about the area's natural history. If animals are your thing, you'll find plenty to keep you busy in the surrounding area, from visiting the retired and rescued beasts of burden at Radcliffe Donkey Sanctuary (five minutes) to the family-friendly park at Hardy's Animal Farm (15 minutes) or The Seal Sanctuary Wildlife Centre (20 minutes). Head a little bit further afield to Donna Nook (40 minutes) and, at certain times of year, you're in with a good chance of seeing seals in the wild as well. For classic bucket and spade days, make sure to visit Skegness (20 minutes) – after a little time on the beach, you can take strolls along the pier, check out the town's historic clock tower, see what's swimming at the aquarium or head just to the north and to Ingoldmells (15 minutes from base) to explore the kid-pleasing attractions at Fantasy Island theme park.
