What customers say
This small, well-maintained site is praised for its excellent location behind The Thames Head Inn, with many highlighting the pub's delicious, generous portions and friendly staff. Pitches are generally level and spacious, with EHU. While the site is convenient for exploring the Cotswolds and offers lovely walks, the sole combined toilet/shower facility is frequently mentioned as inadequate, particularly when the site is busy, and some note road noise. Despite this, many guests found it ideal for stopovers and intend to return.

A relaxing, rural site, clean. Good for short breaks, would come back.
Electric gravel touring pitch (large)
Liked The relaxing, friendly, rural small basic site. 12 level pitches available, all with electric hook up.
Clean, and combined shower toilet.
Pub only a few yards from camping area was excellent for it's friendliness and delicious food.
Disliked Only one combined shower/toilet. No facilities for washing dishes etc.
Road behind a bit noisy at times but okay at night. No wifi for campsite.

Electric gravel touring pitch (small)
Liked Friendly staff, good beer in the pub, quiet site (apart from the road noise, but that can't be helped). Location is perfect for walks along the Thames and into Cirencester.
Disliked Could do with another shower and/or toilet.

Electric gravel touring pitch (large)
Liked The pub itself is nice and the good was good.
Disliked There is only one toilet and shower which is shared by the whole site.
The road is extremely noisy and there is a train track that runs directly adjacent which is also really noisy.

Very good value for money. Lovely pub, nice staff. Roomy pitch (no.1)
Electric gravel touring pitch (large)
Liked Roomy pitch, helpful staff. Gorgeous like pub . Dog friendly. Good shower (though only 1 available)
Well kept site. Felt fit the price, it was bang on and could walk straight out the back to the Thames path and onto Kemble. Perfect. Beware of the train track when walking with kids or dog!
Disliked Road traffic noise. On main road.. Can’t be helped at all but pitch 1 where we were was infested with insects esp green fly. Ironically, probably caused by best thing about our pitch; the back sycamore tree it sat under
