Non-electric grass tent, campervan or trailer tent pitch
Liked: Lovely site, lots of slave, beautiful walks through the farm and woodlands. Really friendly, helpful staff and lovely farm shop/cafe on site. Very good value for money. Facilities are very basic but fine for me in a camper-van with own facilities.

Non-electric grass tent, campervan or trailer tent pitch
Liked: We stayed in the campervan field but in a tent. It was nice to have the option as the tent field is a car free zone and our tent is heavy! Although plenty of wheelbarrows are available to move your stuff if you want to enjoy the view in the tent meadow.
We had a very chilled stay even though the field was relatively busy over the Easter weekend
Composting loos were kept clean and were absolutely fine - (just a heads up that loo roll isn't provided which is fine for the price but worth knowing before arrival!)
It's a short walk to the lovely farm shop (prices are as you would expect for a farm shop in the cotswolds)
Fab back to basics camping in a great area!
Definitely would visit again

Mead Hut cabin (no electricity)
Liked: I went for a solo meditation retreat and it was absolutely spot on. Very secluded and isolated. Literally didn’t see anyone for the three days I was there; I just read, meditated and sat by the fire pit. I had a lot of fun collecting firewood in what felt like my own, private woodland. It was very pleasant getting the log burner going at sunrise, getting the door open, drinking tea, listening to the birds and watching the sheep and horses wake up from bed. I went without electricity and would probably take an oil lamp next time as opposed to just candles; it is quite spooky walking through the woods at night just by candlelight! Left my phone in the car, but plenty of signal there when I turned it on at the end.

Non-electric grass tent, campervan or trailer tent pitch
Liked: Lovely and quiet, with great views (we parked our van near a gap in the hedge with a view over the fields). Great that you can walk to the excellent farm shop and cafe and the staff there were really welcoming and helpful. Showers warm (when they got going) and loved the view of the trees whilst showering. Really near to explore Cirencester. Would definitely stay here again.
Disliked: Not a dislike as such but a heads up - take your own toilet paper as none provided and a torch is useful when using the toilets.
Also, it isn't clear what you would do to check in after 5pm when the farm shop closes so worth checking that if you are likely to (we just about made it before 5pm).

Non-electric grass tent, campervan or trailer tent pitch
Liked: We really liked our stay. The owner was super helpful and welcoming, and shared some great advice regarding walks in the area. The campsite is nice and quiet, with a lovely view of the countryside. The facilities are good too - situated in the forest, which really adds to the feeling of being out in nature.

Non-electric grass tent, campervan or trailer tent pitch
Liked: Not busy at all. Great views across the fields and a nice woodland walk.
Peaceful site almost wild camping but the area is well kept with the grass cut and clean and tidy. There's a good farm shop and cafe and the welcome was warm and very informative when booking in.
You can choose your pitch in 'tents only' or motorhomes/vans/tents with cars. There is plenty of room.
Disliked: The track to the site is very rough and best taken very slowly.
The toilets are pretty awful if you're not used to compost loos and i'm not!
Showers were temperamental they started off warm then suddenly turned cold. Also they are open top and bottom so some people may feel a bit exposed.
