The location is ideal for exploring the Peak District and is within easy walking distance of Buxton. Liked Nice site 25 min walk from the attractions Buxton has to offer.
New toilet and shower block
Dogs must be on leads
Disliked Was noisy busy as during school holidays as suppose to be expected.
No fire allowed is good and bad as gets quite cool but stop morons being irresponsibly. Wardens come round to check

Well organised, lovely staff & very clean facilities. Would recommend!
Non-electric grass tent pitch (six person)
Liked Clean toilets and showers - and plenty of them
I liked the radio playing in the toilets
Key code to access toilets and showers
Hot running water all day and night
Not overly crowded even though it was fully booked
Nowhere was particularly far from the washing up area or toilets
Friendly staff - very responsive to an issue with some noisy neighbours and they were friendly but firm
Bins and toilets are checked regularly. Staff drive around the site to check noise levels which I really appreciated.
Nice play area with benches for adults
Located 5 minutes from supermarkets and a great fish and chip shop!
Beautiful views
Disliked None - the field does have a slight incline but that's the nature of camping in the hills. We angled the tent so that we didn't roll and there are some flat pitches available

Helpful friendly staff.
Proximity to Buxton & nearby walks.
Terraced non electric pitch.
Warden present into evening.
Disliked Not a dislike but we were lucky to be able to pitch on a terrace pitch. On a busy stay you may have to pitch on slope.

We will always use lime tree when staying in the Peak District
Non-electric grass tent pitch (six person)
Liked We have been to lime tree 3 times now and every time we have had a warm welcome. But this time was our first time camping. We had a choice of pitches and decided to pitch next to some pines. The amenities are very well maintained and are always clean.
We love that lime tree is a 15 minute drive from pretty much any of the walks we wanted to do. They have a laundry room and a games room which they did have a pool table and sofas but since their upgrade I’m not sure what is still in there as we didn’t use it.
Lime tree has spectacular views of the viaduct from the caravan pitches.

Non-electric grass tent pitch (six person)
Liked Facilities were fantastic and toilet’s etc exceptionally clean. Site nice and quiet despite being school holidays. Grass lovely and ground good. Lovely location and 15 mins walk from Buxton. Despite being quite close to town feels like it’s out in the sticks. Definitely booking again for May next year.
Disliked Being very picky! Slight incline on camping field and a large group in the top left corner had two campfires on Friday night which are not allowed but patrols had already stopped. Just annoyed me a bit as we would have all liked a fire but some of us respect rules.
