The children are playing with their consoles in the back seat, Fido is in the crate and your fishing rod is in the boot: your holiday starts now. And where can you go to keep kids, dog and fisherman (or woman) happy? Hollie Farm Glamping might well be the place for you… Sitting on the outskirts of the Buckinghamshire village of Wingrave (five minutes’ drive or a 15-minute walk), this intimate site on a working farm welcomes families – and their four-legged companions. In fact, why not start your break by letting your best friend have a good runaround in the dedicated dog park at the top of the farm? Of course, there are also heaps of dog-friendly walks in the area, not least in the Chiltern Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (25 minutes), whose gentle landscape you can admire from the site. There are also trails around the Tring Reservoirs (10 minutes) – this is a renowned birdwatching area (you might spot herons and ospreys), so please be sure to keep your dog under control here. The reservoirs are also popular with anglers. At the end of a long, quiet, meditative day waiting for bream and tench to bite in these waters (make sure you have a day ticket), you can carry on casting back at the site, which has a pond dedicated to coarse fishing. A barbecue is provided, and there are supermarkets within a 15-minute drive (in Tring and Aylesbury), plus a village shop in Wingrave, for your supplies. If you fancy a meal with a nice pint, the nearest watering hole is in the village, but there are also lots of country pubs within a 10-minute drive.

No hen/stag parties permitted via Pitchup.com.
Guests under the age of 12 are not allowed on site.
Commercial vehicles (vehicles used for work-related purposes, carrying goods or fare-paying passengers) and sign-written vehicles are not permitted on site.
Discount cards and gift vouchers cannot be applied to bookings made via Pitchup.com.

Liked: We had a wonderful stay at Hollie Farm Glamping.

We loved the location, the peace and quiet and the Shepherd's Hut had every we needed.

Very cosy, very quiet and in a lovely setting. Lot's to do in the area (even when raining!).

Highly recommended and thank you!!

Liked: The place was beautiful and clean. The hut had everything that we needed for a perfect staycation. The view from the bedroom was scenic. The whole stay was relaxing and peaceful. We enjoyed it. Check-in and check-out process was also easy.

Local attractions

Take a ride on the steam train travelling on the Leighton Buzzard Railway (15 minutes’ drive). Built in the early 20th century, this narrow-gauge track weaves its way through the countryside and features steep climbs and sharp curves. Before you board the train, you can also check out the collection of heritage locomotives and wagons. The largest zoo in the UK, Whipsnade Zoo (20 minutes) is home to thousands of animals – from aardvarks to zebras, and most beasts inbetween (think elephants, bears and rhinos). Arrivals and departures

Late arrivals must notify the park as soon as possible. Your booking will be held for 24 hours. After this period the management reserves the right to relet your unit.
No refunds/discounts for inclement weather, late arrivals or early departures.
Please pick any available pitch on arrival.
The site will send you further check-in information 7 day(s) before your arrival.

Dogs

Dogs must be kept on leads and supervised at all times.
The site does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act (i.e. Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, and Fila Brasileiro) and/or any of the following: Staffordshire bull terrier, American Staffordshire terrier, Rottweiler, any Mastiff or Tosa.
