It's in a fantastic location too – a short drive from ferries to/from the UK, just eight kilometres from a manmade beach and 25 minutes walk from the local town, St Just Luzac.
With pony trekking or horse riding lessons, tennis courts, an animal farm, pedal go-karts, a children’s play area, games room, table tennis, billiards room, pool table and multi-sports pitch with basketball, football, volleyball, there are hours of activities at hand. Water-based action in the aqua park could include the heated kids’ pool and play area, including slides, water jets, a whirlpool, water polo and a lazy river.
Time for a break instead? Drop the kids off at Club Buzzy Bee and make your way to the wellness centre, where there’s a private jacuzzi, sauna, Hammam wellness area, sun terrace and fitness gym.
If it’s later in the day you may want to pay a visit to the former estate’s restored stone farm buildings, where the main restaurant and bar reside with three big screens and entertainment, or pick yourself up a takeaway or woodfired pizza from the pizzeria – tasty convenience for those nights where you’d rather stay in.
With bike hire and an on-site supermarket, you’ll have no trouble sorting a picnic for your outward adventures… other handy facilities include a gift shop, launderette, wifi and courier.

Llocs d'interès
Fans of the water will be in for a treat at Campotel at Sequoia Parc… paddles can be tracked down at Plan d'eau de Marennes (10 minutes’ drive), a manmade beach with soft sand and shallow waters, or the nearby Plage de la Cèpe (15 minutes). In Charente-Maritime (half an hour), it’s easy to get stuck into watersports of all kinds, such as canoeing and kayaking on the canals.
That’s not the end of the water-based action though, as in Royan (35 minutes), sea fishing and watersports are some of the classic activities at this historic seaside resort – and there’s an adventure park and golf inland. Then, there’s La Rochelle (50 minutes), a historic port town to the north, with an old harbour, portside aquarium, Gothic lighthouse and a museum with vintage ships.
What else to entertain your time? Well, there’s all the rides at Luna Park (25 minutes), a funfair-style amusement park, or the Cognac vineyards (approximately an hour) to help the grown-ups unwind.
