Afegiu les dades de la vostra empresaWhat a pretty rivery site… Camping Le Violu is a riverside campsite in the gorgeousness of the Vosge department, in comely green surroundings close to the commune of Gemaingoutte.
As you might reckon, outdoor activities are in this area by the weeks' worth: have at it at some hiking, horse riding, fishing and tennis nearby along with the swimming and watery sports on the river – or head some distance south for the climbing, gliding and wildlife watching of the eye-wateringly scenic Ballons des Vosges Nature Park.
Le Violu has basic but cleanly kept facilities including an outdoor pool, a playground and a restaurant and bar, along with a laundry room with washing machines and tumble dryers, a washing-up area and a toilet and shower block. The spacious pitches are divided by hedges.
Le Violu welcomes les chiens; lots of long dog-friendly walks are around in the site surroundings.

In between all the outdoorsy days and peaceful sightseeing, go village, town and attraction hopping around the region's highlights, like to the Cathédrale de Lumière at Toul and the arty Museum Georges de La Tour in Vic-sur-Seille.
Another popular place to visit nearby is the small town of Ribeauville, 19 kilometres from Camping Le Violu in Alsace's Haut-Rhin department and on the Alsace wine route. It's a medieval town with many an old sight to see: wander its narrow streets to get to its town walls and the Tour des Bouchers, the old wheat storage hall and the seventeenth century Maison des Ménétriers.
Also 19km away is the town of Riquewihr, a touristy pull for its old architecture. The town is one of Les Plus beaux Villages de France and has a sixteenth century centre, medieval fortifications and a castle overlooking the whole lot.
