Who's up for Normandy cycling? You could pedal yourself all the way to Dieppe from this quiet and friendly site in the Seine-Maritime: the local greenway trail is five kilometres away,and includes over 45 kilometres of traffic-free public path linking Dieppe to Forges Les Eaux in the Pays De Bray.
If your holiday plans don't involve anything in the least bit active merci very much, Camping de l'Orival is well placed for getting around Normandy or driving further south on a French adventure, with Eu and Dieppe 35 minutes' drive coastwards and Rouen 50 minutes to the south. Even closer to home, Camping l'Orival is within easy reach (15 minutes' drive) of Eawy Forest, one of the biggest in the Pays de Bray, for gentle hours of strolling, picnicking and wildlife watching.
This peaceful place has plenty going on for days on site too: a heated pool, a games room and a multisports court are all on offer, and kids can be kept well entertained with the plentiful activities run in summer. Or you could opt – again – to do not very much at all merci very much, and spend most of your time at the restaurant, open at mealtimes in July and August as well as weekends and public holidays during other months, for eats indoors, on the terrace or to take away.
Camping l'Orival is about 10 minutes' drive from Grandes-Ventes, and 25 from Auffay and its Friday market.

If you don't fancy cycling, the Dieppe to Forges Les Eaux greenway trail five kilometres from the site is walkable too, and is suitable for pushchairs and wheelchairs.
Elsewhere, many walking trips with marked routes are available 500 metres from the site and in the village 800 metres away. To see the countryside from higher up, equestrian centres are within walking distance and at the stables of Écurie Boisette within 15 minutes' drive.
Other local options are seeing the herd at the Rêve de Bisons at Muchedent 15 minutes' drive away, Val-Ygot and its memorial at Ardouval (also 15 minutes), and the museum of watchmaking in St Nicolas Aliermont or the museum of cider and traditional crafts in Rosay, both within 20 minutes.
