Keen on an eco-friendly Scottish holiday under canvas – but even keener on one with quite a lot of luxury involved? A stay at Organic Welltree, set in St Martins village in rural Perthshire, places you in well-appointed, comfy yurts with their own private decking set among permaculture gardens. Designed for couples on romantic retreats from daily cares, the site is a peaceful wildlife haven where you’re likely to see roe deer, buzzards, red squirrels, foxes, owls and woodpeckers. In fact, all you’re likely to hear during your stay is birdsong and the soothing burble of St Martins Burn as it runs through the gardens. Built from all-natural materials, the yurts are crafted from sustainable Scottish woods – some up-cycled from whisky barrels – and insulated by Scottish sheep’s wool. Woodburning stoves (one bag of firewood per booking, more can be bought on site) keep you nice and cosy, and are topped with hot plates for prepping snacks. Cups, plates, bowls and cutlery are all provided. Other bonuses in the spacious yurts include hand-made beds with quality linens supplied, and strategically placed windows looking out over the gardens so you get to wake up to flowery views every morning. Guest parking spaces are available on site, and just so you’re aware – the access road from St Martins leads down a rough private track.

Em va agradar: Everything. I met the chickens (and was given some of their organic chicken feed to give them - so whenever they saw me, they would come running - so cute). The hostess was lovely and gave me a quick guided tour .

The yurt is like a little fairy house, cosy , comfy, compact! Everything was stylish and pretty, from the sheets to the candle holder to the crockery and the hot water bottles!

There is also a wood burner but I was fine without that.

I had a walk around the garden full of beauty ancient trees and happy wild plants - uplifting and inspiring!

During the night it was so quiet that I could literally hear a leaf fall from a tree.

Em va agradar: The yurt was really cute, well kept, clean and tidy and the organic breakfast was unique and tasted amazing. It made us feel a bit like we were in a health spa, we felt full and satisfied but not over full or loaded. There were lots of little extra touches in the yurt to make our stay special and comfortable, a real attention to detail. We could easily have made more of our stay, we could have cooked on the stove and by having their own available produce to buy in the summer we think it will be worth coming back to try again later in the year.

No em va agradar: Our only thing I noticed was that the mattresses are single ones pushed together which seems to be quite a continental thing - we prefer a single mattress

Em va agradar: The seclusion and how many lovely home made touches made our trip so memorable! The grounds were stunning and our host couldn’t have been more helpful and kind 💕we would absolutely recommend!! We were able to see so much amazing wildlife even a red squirrel from the bed through the window!!

Em va agradar: Everything about this place was wonderful! The most serene beautiful location and stunning, cosy and peaceful yurt. Could easily have stayed for much longer.
Our hosts were incredibly welcoming and friendly and the wonderful touch with the breakfast hamper was really appreciated. Would love to go back and would definitely recommend.

There are Scottish landmarks aplenty to explore nearby: at Scone Palace (15 minutes’ drive), you can tour the opulent state rooms, wander the maze and possibly spot red squirrels in acres of sprawling estate grounds. Huntingtower Castle (25 minutes) is a fortified 16th-century castle open for a mosey around its abandoned towers and vast vaulted halls – and for a slice of living history, drive the length of the Meikleour Beech Hedge (15 minutes), planted in 1745 and thought to be the most extensive hedge in the UK at a whopping 580 yards long. To catch a bit of outdoors action, have a gentle amble through pine, larch and spruce woodland in Kinnoull Hill Woodland Park (20 minutes), or take things up a notch on a kayaking white-water adventure along the River Tay from Grandtully (50 minutes). In season, anglers can cast a fly line for Atlantic salmon at Cargill (15 minutes), or try for brown trout at Aberfeldy. Fancy a dram or two to wind up your Perthshire day? Learn about the process of making whisky and sip a few samples at Aberfeldy Distillery (both 55 minutes).

Qualsevol persona que passi la nit al càmping haurà de presentar el document d'identitat a recepció i completar els tràmits necessaris.

Arribades i sortides

Les arribades tardanes s'han de notificar al càmping al més aviat possible. La vostra reserva queda garantida durant 24 hores. Un cop passat aquest temps, la direcció es reserva el dret de rellogar la vostra unitat.
Les parcel·les o els allotjaments s'assignaran en arribar al càmping.
No s'ofereixen reembossaments/descomptes per les inclemències metereològiques, les arribades tardanes ni les sortides anticipades.

General

A la tarda s'ha de respectar el silenci absolut entre les 12:00 i les 15:00.
En cas que tingueu alguna queixa, parleu amb recepció de seguida. Aquelles queixes que no hagueu presentat a l'administració durant la vostra estada no es podran resoldre un cop hagueu marxat del càmping.
La direcció es reserva el dret de refusar l'accés o posar fi a l'estada d'aquells hostes que presentin un comportament inapropiat. En tal cas, no s'oferirà cap reembossament.
Les ràdios, els reproductors de música i els televisors s'han de mantenir a baix volum. Les portes i els maleters dels vehicles s'han de tancar amb cura.
