Up at the northernmost tip of Loch Lomond, Ardlui Holiday Home Park is a small site with a range of accommodation, all overlooking the water. That’s right – the park has a fabulous location in the Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park, making it easy for walkers, cyclists, photographers and wildlife watchers alike to get out on the hills directly from the pitches, or to get down to the loch for watersports and fishing. This site is also a handy overnighter for anyone ‘doing’ the West Highland Way, which runs along the east side of the loch between Fort William and Milngavie. The walking route is accessed via a ferry from Ardlui Marina, which is only five minutes’ walk away. Kids and dogs are welcome at this friendly site, and there are plenty of facilities to make life comfortable and convenient for all guests – you'll have the use of a launderette, a chemical disposal point and bathrooms with toilets and showers. The Ardlui Hotel is a few steps away too, serving homemade food in the cosy restaurant and a plethora of whiskies – just what you need as a pick-me-up after a day out in the bracing Scottish air – and beers in the welcoming pub. In the pub, you’re welcome to play pool, fire up the jukebox or warm up by the log stove in the winter. There are also lively entertainment nights throughout the year in the hotel.

Em va agradar Our pod along with the views and Steven the warden added a great experience to our Scottish adventure.

No em va agradar The hotel on site was embarrassing with zero customer service, people waiting 90mins and still not eaten. It was so obviously bad we hopped on a bus up to the Drovers Inn that is highly reccommended.

Em va agradar Great location, I was right next to the loch and with some great views. A very nice site

No em va agradar In the shower block apart from one hook in the actual shower, there is no hooks or anything to put your towel or shirt on or to put your wash bag anywhere apart from the floor or hold it between your legs.

Em va agradar Everything!! Absolutely beautiful!!! We stayed here 2 nights and had a wonderful time, scenery is epic, we were loch side.pitch was good size, very quiet, shower block clean and tidy. Pub attached to restaurant was lovely and very welcoming. The watersports equipment hire that was available was a surprise and a highlight to our holiday!! Highly recommend and definitely will be returning!!

Advise; be prepared for morning and late evening midges if water side…. - we were so was not an issue

Em va agradar I recently stayed in a camping pod at Ardlui Holiday Home Park in Loch Lomond and absolutely loved the experience! The location is stunning – right on the loch with beautiful surroundings, making it the perfect peaceful getaway. The pod itself was spotlessly clean and comfortable, with everything I needed for a relaxing stay.
What really stood out, though, was the manager – incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout my visit. They made me feel right at home and added such a personal touch to the whole experience.
I can’t recommend Ardlui Holiday Home Park enough – great location, immaculate facilities, and exceptional hospitality. I’m already looking forward to coming back!

There’s a lot to get stuck into within Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park if you’re a keen hiker, climber or cyclist. If you’d rather take a scenic drive, the Rest and Be Thankful Viewpoint (half an hour’s drive) is a fine spot to pull over. There are also boat cruises on Loch Lomond (35 minutes) for explorations that don’t require much walking. Can’t relate? Don’t worry, just don a pair of hiking boots (or skis if it’s winter) and set about the Glencoe (40 minutes) slopes. Queen Elizabeth Forest Park (an hour) is also a handy spot for a good ramble or some biking. There’s also the stunning hike at Ben A'an (an hour and 10 minutes) for views over Loch Katrine and Loch Achray. Ben More (20 minutes) is a slightly more local spot, and a challenging climb if you really want to get the blood pumping. While you're here, you may fancy checking out some of the nearby castles. Dumbarton Castle (40 minutes) is a striking one set on a volcanic rock overlooking the sea. Inveraray Castle (50 minutes) on the shore of Loch Fyne is also spectacular, with huge gardens, a tearoom and castle room tours.
