What does relaxation mean for you? Whether it’s chilling out back at base or getting fired up with some exercise, you’re well looked after at Pine Green Caravan Park, a family-friendly site on the edge of Doublebois village, five minutes’ drive from the Cornwall market town of Liskeard. If all you want is to spend your hols with your feet up, soaking up stunning views and spectacular sunsets, you won’t go far wrong with Pine Green – the site is set over three acres of terraced land, so no matter where you pitch up for your stay, no one's going to be blocking your views of Bodmin Moor. Those of a more active persuasion won’t be at a loss around here either: make your way to Siblyback Lake for windsurfing, sailing, kayaking, trout fishing, and cycling and walking routes, or try Colliford Lake Park for moorland walks and fly-fishing. When it comes time to fuel up with dinner, you can fire up the barbecue (there’s a supermarket about five minutes away) or venture out to one of the many restaurants within 10 minutes of the site. After you’ve eaten your fill, kick back on site with your eyes to the skies: this is a Dark Sky Reserve, so the stargazing is top notch.

A nice village inn serving real ales close to pine green caravan park and bodmin moor.

The cheeesewring at minions on the edge of the moors great views from here just a 20 min drive away.

If you like walking the coastal paths in this area are stunning and challenging.

Em va agradar: Pleasant greeting on arrival, choice of pitch offered and local advice was helpful. Site it clean, toilets and showers very good, pitches level and reasonably spaced. 1 mile walk along good path beside A38 into Dobwalls for local pub and several places of interest within convenient driving distance. Site is undergoing improvements but get the impression that they're proceeding slowly. No on site shop or other facilities.

No em va agradar: Main downside is road noise from A38 which, though there, isn't really obtrusive.

Em va agradar: The pitches were a good size and were level The bathroom facilities were of high quality and clean. They were cleaned twice each day during our stay. We liked the proximity to the main road whilst this was close did not bother us with road noise. We enjoyed our stay in Pine green and would stay again.the owner was very friendly and helpful.

No em va agradar: There was nothing that we didn't like. However it might not suit people looking for a site with entertainment and a clubhouse. The owner is currently improving the site and there is evidence of construction as you walk around the site. Again didn't bother us.

Em va agradar: Facilities were spotlessly clean, lovely hot showers and great to have washing facilities too. Site owner/ warden was very friendly. Nice views over the valley. Nice bakery just up the road as well.

No em va agradar: No public footpaths around the surrounding areas but that's not sites fault. Site was great and there is a bus stop at the crossroads for the A38 which is handy to get places.

Em va agradar: Good location for a stop off or to base yourself on and day trip out (if you don’t mind road noise). Clean showers/toliets.
Friendly owner on welcome.
Pitches large

No em va agradar: Location, unfortunately it’s in the middle of 2 A roads and a railway. So noise all night. Yes there is a view (ish) over the road (but not really moorlands) but also of an industrial estate, caravan storage and the roads. I don’t like to leave bad comments for anyone clearly trying hard to improve their site. But felt that the description of the site was misleading. Not for us sorry.

Del gerent: Thankyou for your comments we always try to take on good/not so good comments. To the left of us is a caravan storage area but the views over the valley in front and to the right are truly beautiful, especially the sunsets.
Improvements to the site and careful planting of trees may help.

No em va agradar: Although the toilet block and showers looked very nice and clean which they were unfortunately the showers were cold hardly any pressure and the floor never seemed to be dry. Also entry onto the site is very precarious your caravan is blocking the road until the guy comes to open the barrier instead of being number plate recognition

Pine Green Caravan Park is well placed for explorations of Cornwall through the ages: start at Dozmary Pool on the Bodmin Moor, the fabled resting place of King Arthur’s Excalibur, find your way to the Moody Hurlers stone circle (ask obliging hosts Carol and Tony the story behind that one), then take a jaunt into Bodmin for the Courtroom Experience and Bodmin Jail. Fancy some scenic grandeur? Try the stately homes of Lanhydrock, Cotehele, Antony and Lawrence House, all within roughly half an hour of the site. If that’s not floating your boat, row on over to the stunning Polperro – cars are banned in the coastal village, but it’s well worth abandoning modern modes of transport for a stroll around here and a poke through the Polperro Heritage Museum of Smuggling and Fishing. Got kids in tow? Fire their imagination with visits to the fab Lost Gardens of Heligan, Carnglaze Slate Caverns and Jamaica Inn (a smuggling stronghold immortalised in the eponymous Daphne du Maurier novel), get them thinking about the environment at the Eden Project, and burn off all their remaining energy with trips to Hidden Valley, Adrenalin Quarry and Camel Creek Adventure Park. If that’s not enough for them, Crealy Adventure Park is about an hour and 15 minutes' drive away.

Admissió

Només podreu entrar al càmping després de registrar-vos a recepció.

Arribades i sortides

Les arribades tardanes s'han de notificar al càmping al més aviat possible. La vostra reserva queda garantida durant 24 hores. Un cop passat aquest temps, la direcció es reserva el dret de rellogar la vostra unitat.
No s'ofereixen reembossaments/descomptes per les inclemències metereològiques, les arribades tardanes ni les sortides anticipades.

Extres

Es poden portar motos en lloc dels cotxes inclosos en el preu.

En cas que tingueu alguna queixa, parleu amb recepció de seguida. Aquelles queixes que no hagueu presentat a l'administració durant la vostra estada no es podran resoldre un cop hagueu marxat del càmping.
La direcció es reserva el dret de refusar l'accés o posar fi a l'estada d'aquells hostes que presentin un comportament inapropiat. En tal cas, no s'oferirà cap reembossament.
