Free! The price of zilch is what you’ll pay to keep the kids happy at Widemouth Bay Caravan Park a few miles from Bude, which is bound to result in wide-mouthed grins for all concerned... This large and lively family park has kids’ clubs run by the cunning Foxy, free evening entertainment by the Stripey Coats, crazy golf to go loopy at and an indoor heated pool, which are also…free. As is the wifi in the clubhouse. Huzzah. Widemouth Bay Caravan Park’s location is also pretty smilesome: on a hilltop overlooking the Cornish countryside and the fab Widemouth Bay with its three miles of sand. There are over 50 acres to lose yourself in around the park and pretend you never have to go home, with the takeaway, well-stocked shop and tasty meals at the bar keeping you sorted for nosh and a launderette looking after the essentials. Looking for yet more things to do on site? Challenge the kids on the amusements or show them how to hustle on the pool table – letting them beat you should result in even more wide smiles…

Em va agradar: Tent pitch sizes were good, and plenty of space between other tents (6m).
We only went to the night time entertainment twice, the magic show was good and the children enjoyed it.
Crazy golf was £5 deposit which you get back on returning the clubs and golf balls - although it wasn’t a massive course, the children enjoyed it.
There were day time activities in the clubhouse to book which would be good if you have younger children.

No em va agradar: Shower pressure wasn’t great, the water kept trickling out but did have hot water.
The swimming pool water was quite chilly, there was also algae round edges of the pool, it just didn’t feel very clean. There were a few showers there to shower down before getting into the pool and a quick rinse after - the shower water was very cold and you are not allowed to wash/shampoo in them. They also only have 2 rooms to change in so we ended having to walk back to the shower blocks up by the tents in our towels while it was raining and cold outside. This put us off using the pool again. This also has to be booked on the morning at reception.

No em va agradar: My wife needed to use the disabled facilities as recovering from leg surgery but we were unable to rent a RADAR key and had to track down the warden to gain access. Not a huge problem, but maybe get some spares?

Em va agradar: This is like our 5th stay here in 18 months absolutely love this place ... Friendly staff beautiful site beautiful views close to some lovely places ie Bude, Boscastle, Tintagel .. widemouth it's self is stunning. And a close walk to black rock. The food is amazing had a pizza takeaway and it was yummy 5* food.

Widemouth Bay is where you’ll find the surf: if you’re new to launching yourself happily into the waves there are surf and bodyboarding schools dotted all around here and Bude, and Newquay is within 50 minutes' drive. Bude less than 10 minutes by car has a couple of excellent beaches: Summerleaze, to have a dip in the sea pool at the bottom of the cliffs and to bag a beach hut for hire so you can pretend for one fleeting afternoon that it’s your very own, and Crooklets, which you can reach by a short stroll from Summerleaze Down. Both beaches, and the sea pool at Summerleaze, are lifeguarded. The staff at Widemouth Bay Caravan Park recommends a car to see the best of Cornwall, but you won’t have very far to drive to reach most of the main hotspots: the Eden Project is about 50 minutes away, and Tintagel, legendary home of King Arthur and Merlin, is just along the coast.

Admissió

Els menors de 18 anys han d'estar acompanyats pels pares o tutors legals.
Només podreu entrar al càmping després de registrar-vos a recepció.

Arribades i sortides

Les arribades tardanes s'han de notificar al càmping al més aviat possible. La vostra reserva queda garantida durant 24 hores. Un cop passat aquest temps, la direcció es reserva el dret de rellogar la vostra unitat.
Les parcel·les o els allotjaments s'assignaran en arribar al càmping.
No s'ofereixen reembossaments/descomptes per les inclemències metereològiques, les arribades tardanes ni les sortides anticipades.

Extres

Els vals d'entreteniment estan inclosos en el preu.

General

El bar (i/o el restaurant) està obert del 01/03 al 01/11.
Està prohibit portar Generators and toilet tents.
La botiga d'alimentació està oberta del 01/03 al 01/11.
La direcció es reserva el dret de refusar l'accés o posar fi a l'estada d'aquells hostes que presentin un comportament inapropiat. En tal cas, no s'oferirà cap reembossament.
Les ràdios, els reproductors de música i els televisors s'han de mantenir a baix volum. Les portes i els maleters dels vehicles s'han de tancar amb cura.

Gossos

Modificacions de la reserva

Les modificacions de la reserva estan subjectes a una taxa de 30,00 £ (35,23 €).
