Em va agradar: It was a nice location with everything you needed. Stayed in a pod which had most of the basics that’d you’d need.

No em va agradar: Over a 3 night stay, the toilet and shower block wasn’t seen to until multiple people complained about lack of toilet paper, and the sheer state of them. The floor throughout the shower block and toilets were disgusting. And the basins. The showers themselves had a warning sign saying “warning hot water” there was no way of adjusting the temperature and it was way too hot for young children. My 4 year old was left with reddening all over his body where it was too hot. Out of 5 showers, two were operational. And the floors in them were filthy, which is incredibly off putting. The washing up facilities had a separate hot and cold tap, and the hot was SO hot you physically couldn’t put your hand under it without it burning your hand. I’ve never experienced such hot water from a tap.
The clubhouse mostly had 1 friendly staff member working behind the bar, but also had to serve food and attend to the arcade and prize counter. This meant you’d always be waiting in a queue. Most times I visited I had to queue for at least 20 minutes. Food options were very basic, no real healthy options, and apart from the pizzas, pretty poor quality.
Staff in the reception seemed somewhat unbothered by our poor stay and just said sorry they’d work on it. No real customer services involved. I had seen that the toilet/shower block cleanliness was an issue in another review as well so they clearly haven’t been working on it. The toilets and showers should be seen to (replenished and cleaned a minimum of twice a day).
The Pod we stayed in was ok, although the biggest blind in the room didn’t cover the whole window as it was too short and the pull cord for it was broken.

Would’ve been nice to have entertainment for the kids in the evening. They had entertainment (a band) on the Friday night but only started at 9. Which was too late.

Em va agradar: Location of the site is fantastic.
And all you need is on site - shop, bar/ restaurant, kids playground, launderette.
Bonus points, bedding was provided free of charge.
If negative points in many reviews would be addressed, this site would be an absolute gem.

No em va agradar: Could do with more/ better cleaning.
Cobwebs in and around the camping pod. Dust under the bed. Cereal on the floor from previous guests. Cigarette butts around the pod.
Shower block - cleaning schedule filled for the day without anyone actually cleaning.
Couldn't find drinking water for our water carrier.
Washing up station - water just gushes out, making it impossible to wash up

Em va agradar: 2 Nächte, Hütte ist sehr leise. Team ist freundlich.

No em va agradar: Duschen sind sehr unpraktisch und sehr dreckig. Der Weg dorthin ist Nachts nicht beleuchtet.

Em va agradar: The pod was clean and as expected.

Reception was nice.

The kids park was good.

No em va agradar: So many things wrong with this place! I wouldn’t book this site again.

The washing up area was filthy.

There’s no drinking water for the pods anywhere.

The toilet block was absolutely disgusting. Smelt awful and the floor was so dirty. There were dirty knickers in one of the toilets and they had been there the whole 3 days I was there. Rubbish all in the toilets the whole weekend. Soap had run out in so many dispensers and toilet rolls were running out. The taps constantly get stuck and people don’t turn them off. A lot of wasted water because of the taps.

There were lots of large group bookings which is against their policies! 2 families behind us kids were swearing loudly and were very noisy until gone 11pm. They kicked a ball at my car and it hit our pod a lot while we were in bed. They were very loud until late.

Another family had about 8 teenagers who constantly screamed and shouted the whole evening into the early hours. They were over the other far side but I could still hear them in the second row.

People were driving around all night with music blaring and the engine running. Shouting over the music and the running engine having loud conversations at 2am. Cars should be banned from parking outside the pods to avoid the noise in the night.

I heard what sounded like the staff golf buggy belting about at 2am and they were beeping the horn!

In the morning we were woken up at 5.30am by a swam of sea gulls because someone had either left a rubbish bag out overnight or had put food out.

There were kids on electric bikes/scooters going faster than the cars and one kid nearly crashed into a car that was parking, the kid swerved which he then nearly hit my 7 year old son who was just standing still waiting for me by our car. Please ban these dangerous electric toys from sites!

Rubbish everywhere around the club house. Dirty glasses on the tables.

The arcade was boiling and most of the machines were broken. This put us off using the arcade. The facilities are small considering the size of the site, we couldn’t even get a table to have a drink at 2pm! So I didn’t bother with the evenings entertainment.

The shop had no milk at 2pm when I arrived so I had to go out to get some.

Em va agradar: Glamping pod was very cute - bit quirky and different to a caravan which we would normally stay in.
Swimming pool was great as was the onsite park.

No em va agradar: Restaurant / food - This was poor.
Childrens meal sizes were very small and not very tasty.
Breakfast was also a let down and not enjoyable.

No em va agradar: Customer service in the main part not the greatest ,Waited over 90 minutes for lunch quality of food not the best and in my opinion over priced.

Em va agradar: The pods looked lovely, close to the beach.

No em va agradar: The reception and sales office looked lovely on arrival, but reception staff failed to give us codes for the doors. The pods were too close together and too close to the club house smoking area. The pod had a damaged window that the staff didn’t fix, or even attempt to fix. The arcade was dirty and machines were broken.

Em va agradar: Close to beach for walks with dog. Stayed in a pod which was clean and more than adequate for our needs. Not the largest but fine for the 3 of us for 2 nights. Did get quite hot during the evening in the pods. Site was well situated for whitstable and herne bay. We got the train to whitstable rather than driving. Did not use the facilities such as the restaurant, bar on site. Weather was not great to use the pool. Found the showers/ toilets were fine.

No em va agradar: There was some noise from children running around at 11pm. Not the sites fault just parents not looking after their children and letting them run around screaming.

Em va agradar: Location, sea views , swimming pool, lots of space for kids to play. Camping pod was really nice.
Walking distance to Herne Bay and Whitstable.

No em va agradar: Showers and toilets couold be cleaned more often, but in general weren't too bad.
Would.be nice if every pod would have spot outside to place bbq , like bricked structure or cemented area.
