Beautiful sky, luckily it passed over us

Grab yourselves a break that covers two counties with a stay at Top End Farm, on the border of Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire. In the village of Little Staughton, this family-run farm stretches over 11 acres, so lovely country views are standard. The pitches are spread across two fields, making plenty of space for all guests to set their kit up and relax. Facilities have been very well thought out too, particularly the two heated toilets and shower blocks (with large shower cubicles, hair dryers, shaver points and an accessible wet room) and the kitchen area, which has a food prep area, a freezer and two large sinks. There’s a play area to keep the kids busy too. Sorting food to prep is a doddle, as the site has firepits that can be hired for an additional fee. The farm is also home to the village shop and off-licence, which stocks local veg and fresh bread along with meats for the barbecue. For a more extensive stock-up, there are supermarkets in St Neots, 15 minutes’ drive away. And if you don’t feel like cooking? The folk on site can provide you with details of various takeaways that deliver to the site, or the village pub is a little over a mile away. The farm also has an information hut with all manner of local info on places to go and things to do – activities nearby include fishing, golf, various aqua parks and bike rides, or days out at the Shuttleworth Collection, Woburn Safari Park and Wyboston Lakes.

Em va agradar: We had a wonderful stay and it was the perfect place for a little getaway! Our children are 5 and 7, and loved riding their bikes, playing in the park, and having all the space in the middle to play football and other ball games - the layout was fantastic. The site felt safe and secure for them to go off on their own also, which they really enjoyed. The half pipe was a huge hit with all the children there! The wardens were so friendly and so efficient. The management of the site was just wonderful. There was one night we had to message the warden as another camper had very loud music on at 10.30pm ish. The warden replied straight away and went to ask them to turn it down. We were there over Easter weekend and the wardens organised an Easter egg hunt and egg and spoon race for the children (and mums and dads races were a hit too!!!). Farm shop had everything you could possibly need also - apart from gluten free bread! We will definitely be visiting again - thank you!

No em va agradar: Not much around in the local area where you don't have to drive to get there but for us, it was not a problem. The showers could benefit from a drainage hole in each cubicle so that everything does not get so wet, as the showers whoosh out so far, the cubicle all gets very wet!

Flat well drained pitch, good size.
Toilets and showers kept clean and tidy.
Farm shop well stocked. Try the free range eggs. Superb taste and colour.
Good play area for children.

No em va agradar: They gave us a pitch that had grass clips everywhere. When their other tent
pitches where all nice clean grass pitch with no grass clips anywhere so i feel we did not get serviced like the others \not happy with the site. \\\will not stay

Del gerent: Im so sorry you felt that you were victimised in respect to where you were pitched, unfortunately the paddock area grass had got a little longer than we would have liked so there was more clippings than we would have liked onsite, if you had told us you felt this way we would have moved you to a different area, We put you in the paddock area, as you would have noticed we try to keep this area without children playing ball games etc, so thought this would be a nice area for you to stay as you were 2 adults travelling together
if you would like to try one of our glamping pods or pre pitched tents we would love for you to give us another opportunity

Em va agradar: Peaceful and secure. The site is really well kept and facilities are very clean and accessible.

The staff are incredibly friendly and the location was perfect for us.

No em va agradar: Sadly the WIFI was really poor but to be fair the staff are addressing this issue and I'm sure will have it sorted before summer hits.

Sorry the wifi wasn't working for you, it is intermittent, it is free so we can not always guarantee 100%, we have put the internet in to assist people not having to pay. We have had a large outlay on the wifi to make it accessible to many areas. The problem is we are in a village so if people are downloading films etc, then it does reduce the wifi capability.
Unfortunately even in large companies such as Gatwick and centre parks the wifi is not always reliable we are as we spoke to you trying to sort out more places where it is accessible

Em va agradar: This is a great family friendly camping site. Nestled in a quiet leafy village with not much around. There is a farm shop on site with all you could need, including fire pit rental. Also a marshal around should you need assistance. A lovely park for children to play. Lots of space. A hut with take away leaflets who deliver etc. toilets and showers always clean and tidy, kitchen area always clean and tidy. Free WiFi with good connection.

Keen to try something that will get everyone involved and perhaps raise the competitive spirit? There are a few places nearby for that. Head to Colmworth Golf Club (10 minutes’ drive) for some putting action, or Sporting Targets (20 minutes) to discover which clay pigeon shooter among you has the greatest aim. At Southlake Waterpark (15 minutes), you can try different watersports, including paddleboarding, waterskiing and wakeboarding. Grafham Water (15 minutes) is a little more laidback, with activities such as fishing, sailing and peaceful bicycle rides. Like animals of all shapes and sizes? For wildlife watching, head to one of these three: Woburn Safari Park (35 minutes), Herrings Green Activity Farm & Bird of Prey Centre (half an hour) and the Paxton Pits Nature Reserve (15 minutes). For a day of general pottering, St Ives (half an hour) should do the trick, with its pretty town centre, riverside walks and indie shops. Shuttleworth Collection & Gardens (20 minutes) has a short woodland trail and a vintage aircraft collection, making it a nice contender for slow-paced days out too.

Admissió

Només podreu entrar al càmping després de registrar-vos a recepció.

Arribades i sortides

Les arribades tardanes s'han de notificar al càmping al més aviat possible. La vostra reserva queda garantida durant 24 hores. Un cop passat aquest temps, la direcció es reserva el dret de rellogar la vostra unitat.
Les parcel·les o els allotjaments s'assignaran en arribar al càmping.
L'establiment us enviarà més informació sobre el registre d'entrada 5 dia/es abans de la vostra arribada.
No s'ofereixen reembossaments/descomptes per les inclemències metereològiques, les arribades tardanes ni les sortides anticipades.

Extres

Es poden portar motos en lloc dels cotxes inclosos en el preu.

En cas que tingueu alguna queixa, parleu amb recepció de seguida. Aquelles queixes que no hagueu presentat a l'administració durant la vostra estada no es podran resoldre un cop hagueu marxat del càmping.
La botiga d'alimentació està oberta del 02/01 al 25/12.
La direcció es reserva el dret de refusar l'accés o posar fi a l'estada d'aquells hostes que presentin un comportament inapropiat. En tal cas, no s'oferirà cap reembossament.
